Sea bream pan fried then steamed with harrisa, thyme and spring onions on couscous with preserved lemon, apricot, roast red pepper, coriander and pomegranate juice salsa, topped with toasted pistachio and sesame seeds with yoghurt and harrisa on the side. Phew.
That looks great! How was it?
It was very tasty. I’m normally pretty good with whole fish but got a few boney mouthfuls with this one. I must try harder with my presentation as the fish looked great when it came out of the pan then I covered it nuts and seeds.

Took a workmate out for dinner to my local, they are visiting from the states. My steak and chips was excellent

She said "call that a steak?", then said in Texas they have bigger croutons

Porchetta.
yum.

as an aside, the chicken thigh desperate Dan pie that Jamie Oliver did on his £1 meal show yesterday was wonderful.
that looks amazing
Thanks all. It was very tasty but sadly the piece of pork wasn't that brilliant, not up to its usual standard from the place I use.

It was the Ottolenghi recipe is anyone wants a stab at it.

Burgertime

I have lots of nice food in the fridge, but an appalling red wine hangover so I’m off my game

I hate the table-cloth and plate, but your food looks great. Nice work.

Thanks chaps! Fakeaway is the aim, it’s getting there.

CdG, believe it or not, it’s a marble table imported from Africa! Takes 3 people to move and it’s completely hideous. But if we all liked the same thing, life would be boring.

Soz about the hangover Nebby

The table has the potential to be epic in the right setting smile.

The plate(s).... not for me biggrin. I'd be forever thinking there was hair on the plate with those ones aswell!

The food... you've cracked it mate. Looks like a takeaway that does. I love the chow mein looking noodles especially bow.

Simple stuff tonight. M&S Southern Fried Chicken (done in the oven), jacket potato with garlic butter, M&S coleslaw. Absolutely delicious.
