I made this tonight. Very tasty indeed.

Made some small tweaks but was an excellent shout.

Thanks.
Cheers - I did it again over the weekend, extra lime and added green beans and red peppers, really good.

Toad in the hole first ever attempt, sausages a bit over done, batter was not as fluffy as only had butter, but tasty

Cheese on toast with home grown chillis and and a cheeky glass of red.

Epic.

Unfortunately the cheeky glass of red turned into a cheeky bottle of red and I fell over getting off the sofa and now have bruised ribs.

Still, great super dish.

Too much bread not enough cheese. But your comical story has counteracted this most basic of kitchen sins. That said, the cheese is neatly and lovingly arrayed, and the chiilis are evenly sprinkled which is pleasing to the eye. It is missing something though, and that is a good few cracks of black pepper.

I start my bottle later on, and have a Pizza to "do up" and photograph.

Its drunken Pizza tonight. Not often done, but craved every few months. Any Pizza can be easily pimped and it's in the finer details for me. Mozzarella and Cheddar "refix" followed by Oregano, Garlic, small amount of fresh Bird Eye, drizzle of Olive Oil and Black Pepper all lovingly cooked a certain way.

I'll get to work on this later and post up ( will be late ) but I guarantee the end result will please. It will be cheese heavy, be warned. It's like an overly decadent cheese on toast, "Pizza style".

Mrs. Miniman took daughter to Wagamama for lunch, and boys had turkey & bacon burgers, so I set my sights on some filth, in the format of a home-made Five Guys. Steak mince from farm shop, lightly fried onions, token salad and plastic chez. Toasted brioche bun. Homemade skin-on fries. Slaw.

(not pictured - narrowly averted chip pan fire)

Damn, that pizza looks really good. I wish asda would do CYO pizzas that good, having said that the asda ones are cheaper. I'd still be willing to spend more on better quality base & toppings though.

No on both counts.

That Pizza is st. Its a good base though, and I can work with it.

Asda is st, and there is no rewind on that. They manage to fk up steak and salad, which is amazing as I thought meat was meat and leaves were leaves. Of all the supers, Asda is bog bottom. Avoid!

And see my Pizza later - gonna be epic!

Well. That didn't disappoint.

Wow. I'm stuffed. Pretty happy with the result. It was a large base so cheese depth was not as thick as I would expect once I spread it. But, it worked. Crust was crispy, Garlic came through, Chilli kicked in, Oregano did it's bit. Yeah. Not bad. A good "Drunken Pizza".

And a huge "pimp" on a boring Pizza. Its all in the cooking!

Boring, Needs pimping.

Pimping ingredients at the ready:

After a bit of love, and the addition of decent ingredients, the creation is born. The side dish is a home made garlic mayo, which I did at the eleventh hour. ( 2 min rush before Pizza was removed )

"Pimped Pizza" - lovingly cooked, dripping with cheese and served with a home made Garlic and Pepper mayonnaise.

Looking forward to tonight. I have a long day chauffeuring tmrw in London so I have decided to fuel up. Tonights treat for the wife is home made shish kebabs ( lamb and chicken ) which have been marinading all day. I am going to BBQ them on skewers, and serve with pitta breads ( also on BBQ) and shredded lettuce, red onion, tomatoes and red cabbage. Sauces will be Meat Lust Ghost Chilli and a home made Garlic and Lemon yoghurt.

Pudding is also epic, raspberry and lemon tart served with raspberry ripple ice cream and crumbled flake. Boom!
