I was in Stafford over the weekend… back for my father in laws funeral frown

I looked at that place for a takeaway on Saturday night, but ended up getting a Chinese instead (which was very decent).

Will try to give it a go when I’m next back.
Really sorry to hear that chap frown

Also possibly a bit OT but which Chinese did you go for? I've struggled to find a reliable one round here...

God that looks great, Bodhi!

Also I have a thing against Soft Tacos (as that isn't how Old El Paso did them up until recently) - but they do look good.
Not sure if I should be offended! scratchchin

Sorry for your loss, Chris.

Not at all! Ignoring my random prejudices about the consistency of taco shells, they're all about the fillings at the end of the day - and that looks spot on.

Only pulling your plonka! Made from scratch, I only had big wraps so had to cut little ones out with a bowl hehe

Not sure of the recipe, needs editing, but feeling like a giant eating food was worth it all…

Thanks… very sudden, and obviously very sad.

Chinese was from Oriental Tree on Highfields… closest one to my in laws place.

Nice Macaroni cheese tonight in the sunshine.

This is something I want to try, I still have the perception of Macaroni cheese from the 80's, in a can.

Maybe next time I do some brisket or ribs. Looks nice!

Me too, and that macaroni looks awesome.

I went to a friend's house when I was about 13. His mum was a lovely lady but no joke, had to be the world's absolute worst cook - would even manage to screw up toast. She made Macaroni and cheese that evening, and to this day I've no idea what she put in it, but every mouthful was making me gag and I didn't have it in me to tell her I hated it. It probably would have been better out of a can.

I've never been able to eat macaroni and cheese since without feeling like retching but going to have to try a decent one, like this poster's one pictured.

How did this turn out? Would love to see more fish on the food threads.

We had monkfish good Friday (not the fast show detective)

I'm going to guess £102 plus drinks, sides and a tip.
