Is there anything that a fried egg doesn’t complement?

That looks good - were there many constituents to the sauce you've got coating the noodles etc.?

You have to tip for takeaway in the US
I thought Americans are not expected to tip for takeout orders from restaurants, especially if they pick up the order themselves. If its delivered then I believe you have to tip the delivery driver, but the restaurant still doesn't get a tip.

To me, tipping was also discretionary and you do it for good service, excellent food, etc. Definitely not for when you're collecting your own takeaway. However, as evidenced by recent news articles and tiktok videos of a restaurant owner arguing with a customer because they didn't tip, it now seems to be an expectation regardless of how you were served or even if you had good service at all.

I recently bought a bottle of water at a shop within JFK airport and there was the facility to tip on the screen when paying for it. Tipping is out of control there.

If you mean this one the guy has apologized. Also I don't think it was a takaway order, either way you don't demand a tip with menace.
