Again? Scrape the left into the bin and get some nice duck fat chips on there to go with that meat hehe

I do like a good rib eye, but would have to have fries with it! Plate looks odd without them.

Oven up. Posh sausages and crispy eggs. I usually put a bit of butter in the mushroom but today I put some garlic olive oil, and it works well!

Irish bacon and cabbage soup. Big hit with the kids surprisingly. House smells strongly of fart today though.

Have had an awkwardly timed flight into Amsterdam for work.

Believe it or not I've missed this - beats wandering upstairs to the home office every day!

Air fryer roast turkey breast (had been sat on a bed of leek, onion, celery and sage); salt n peppered and roasted for 30mins skin side down at 160ºC; then turned and skin side up for 30mins and then an extra 15mins at the end, then rested for an hour; absolutely perfect. Very moist, super tasty and perfect for butties wink

I've also done a very low n slow long cook shin beef stew today; went in at 9am and came out at 4pm - home grown carrots, leeks and onion in there with home grown bay, rosemary & thyme. Beef dusted with flour and mustard powder and then browned off in goose fat in my dutch oven; veg sweated off and then topped with beef stock and in the oven it goes thumbup
