Blue dragon noodles are about one step up from a pot noodle hehe get yourself along to a proper Chinese supermarket and buy some decent ones. What marinade did you use on the pork?
Definitely, proper chow mein noodles next time. These ones turned out better than expected (boil for 4 mins, rinse in cold water, spread out to drain for 30 mins before frying) but still felt a bit insubstantial compared with restaurant/takeaway noodles.

Marinade is homemade...

1 tbsp red bean curd ("lump" + liquid, mashed together)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp hoi sin
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp light soy
1/2 tsp five spice
1/2 tsp salt

My first ever roast, the yorkshires were not homemade. Lamb was in for 6 hours. Pretty happy. The shot is taken pre gravy bit post cheese sauce.

Delicious. I added a decent amount of olive oil before putting tray in oven. I spotted this on an Instagram account I follow. Apparently the trend started in Finland

Is that tomatoes with feta, garlic and basil? Never thought to cook them like that rather than just eat it raw

Yep

I'd normally eat them raw too. But I spotted this and must say it didn't disappoint. Worth a try

Not a particularly pretty dinner but I somehow ended up with an excess of tinned tuna in the cupboard so made Sicillian-style tuna lasagna (and as I don't like olives I replaced those with quick pickled carrot), five been salad (with a splash of balsamic vinegar) and a bit of lettuce, was tasty.

Been ages since I made lasagna and it was suitably excellent.

Lamb Nihari. I was a bit sceptical because the recipe is a bit odd but it was so tasty.

I just do the broccoli and pour homemade cheese sauce on it, looks terrible tastes amazing! Also means you can cook a big batch of cheese sauce and freeze for later. (my wife is teaching me to cook and tells me all this stuff)

Working my way thru the MIL's freezer.

Mahi Mahi cooked in butter, garlic, chill and parsley, with oven roasted parmesan coated asparagus.

Solid 8/10.

Mexican rice bowl with adobo chicken, black beans, pineapple salsa, chopped tomato and avocado, some little gem, pickled onion, sour cream and a bit of grated manchego.

Lobster claw tortelloni, sweetcorn purée, crispy chicken wings and poached lobster tail.

Cote de bœuf, triple cooked chips, asparagus and roasted tomates. Béarnaise for the wife, peppercorn for me.

Aberdeen Angus, 45 day dry aged, 56 degrees/4 hours sous vide.

Lemon meringue pie

Another homemade 'takeaway' dinner.

Chinese-style crispy sesame chicken with sticky Asian sauce and special fried rice which included carrot, onion, spring onion, peas, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, scrambled egg and toasted cashews.
Sprinkled with spring onion and toasted sesame seeds.
