A couple from the weekend.

Sesame seed coated seared tuna with teriaki red onion, aubergine and spinach stir fry and udon noodles.

Herby roast pork fillet with cauliflower cheese, roast charlotte potatoes, green beans and a shallot, wine, mustard and sour cream sauce.

not necessarily lowering the tone, but of course you'd have to have bought them to have them in the freezer in the first place smile

Redone the Mac and cheese, with more cheese and some chicken to make it more of a main than side.

They look stunning. Are they from a small family smoke house?

http://www.isleofmankippers.com/about-us/index.html

I first had them over thirty years ago when I was over there watching the TT (Joey Dunlop, Ron Haslam era). Back then I was amazed that you could walk in, place an order and they'd post them to you when you got home - didn't fancy them in my suitcase hehe

I've been buying them by the 3kg box (usually 19/20 kippers) for a few years now for friends and family. They really are the best i've tried. And great value at £29 a box which includes delivery!

They're all bagged up now.......................

I had chicken and cheese to use up, so went nachos for tea. Cooked the chicken in Cajun for some spice, added some salsa, cheese and chilli flakes, and into the oven.
