I'm working away from home 3 days/week and renting a little studio with a basic kitchen. Ideal for reheating leftovers from the home cooking. Tonight we have Albondigas and pan fried Roast Patatas:

I'd need years or possibly decades more practice before taking on something like that. Respect.

Using up left over stuff in the fridge / some buns lurking in the cupboard... Not pretty and as usual lowering the tone of the thread but very tasty none the less. Maybe we need a "dirty dinner" thread for food like this / illmonkey's stunning effort rather than sullying this one?

Goan pork curry, tomato rice, vegetable subji, coconut chutney and pakora.

I like to get all the main ingredients prepped before I start cooking, takes a bit longer but makes it a bit easier, and I do like my saturday afternoon/evening kitchen time with a few beers and Radio 2. smile

The pork off-cuts on the left will be put out for our regular fox visitor a bit later.

Chicken fajitas, a Hairy Bikers recipe, with homemade tomato salsa, creme fraiche and lime wedges.

They rolled up surprisingly well. A hands on and not particularly elegantly eaten dinner, but very tasty!
