Night ferry eh. If you’ve not done it before you’re in for a surprise if you’re staying out!
I took to my cabin at a reasonable 2230 hrs - but yes I’m
Sure some people shouldn’t be driving off a ferry at 0800 hrs today ….

The worse seemed to be the women - whom were getting louder and louder (this was around midday yesterday - let alone lastnight smile

Though shouldn’t throw stones in glass houses … this was 1030am

ETA

Hull to Zeebrugge ferry …

2 football teams decided to have a dust up in the disco …. I was on a rugby tour …. Boat met by police upon arrival back at Hull.

Rugby team exonerated of all fisticuffs/praised for acting as bouncers to quell the dheads smile

In the penultimate episode of ‘what’s left in the freezer’, some breadcrumbed chicken. I added salsa and cheese cos it was a 2 pack but I had all the extra good stuff on the other one.

Tomorrow will conclude the series, hopefully there will be no more series’s commissioned. Spoiler alert, it’s a pie finale! Yea, with a st load more peas.

ETA: played a bit or ahole roulette with this one, after 30 mins the chicken wasn’t cooked at all! (it was frozen, but the packet said 30 mins). So I done it for another 10. Fingers crossed!

I wish you well with (what I assume is) a move, but that is written in a language that I think I'd only understand if I was pissed or thick.

Decent pea portion though.

Correct, to a house I’m buying, so away with short term rentals and airbnbs, finally.

I’m pissed, so that must make you thick. Thanks

Congratulations on the house purchase. I'm sure we all look forward to seeing the products of your new kitchen.

Unluckily for you, I'm pissed too, so that makes you even thicker (by the unwritten but bizarre rules that seem to operate here).

Many thanks! It’s been a ride that’s for sure.

I’m not really pissed, just a few beers with the f1. So maybe you’re mainly drunk and a bit thick and I’m mainly thick whilst a bit drunk.

Either way the food sucked. And I can’t wait to show you all food on a ‘normal’ plate.

Anyway, food.

Attractive starter.

More appropriate weather for our today. Been looking forward to it all day! With a rather strong brew wink

PS. Thanks for all the kind words, especially you JB! cloud9

Don’t get me started on rag puddings!
Whenever I used to go back to my parents, Mum would always make my favourite meal, homemade steak and kidney rag pudding. Generally served with either chips or roast potatoes with mushy peas and loads of gravy. Both parents are sadly, no longer with us, so I rely on pubs or restaurants for my rag pudding fix. Unfortunately, very few places come close. If anyone knows of a manufacturer or seller of good quality rag puddings please tell me!

Mums steak and kidney pudding cloud9

Apologies for the pea free post, but….

Not many days where the weather will really allow food like this now… so made the most of a cooler evening and rustled up something more typical of the winter months.

Cod with a chorizo, chickpea and potato stew. Fish broke as I turned it, so not the prettiest presentation, but lovely flavours.

Served with broccoli, soft bread, and a sharp Verdejo.

It sounds great (I love cod and chorizo), but appears to have been served via artillery rocket.
