I'm an avid fan...

Always forget to take pictures of my grot (cos beer), but here's; chicken tikka madras, and 2 random dishes. On kerman rice and crispy thing.

Very tame compared to some.....

That my friend, is the burger of choice by the most discerning of burger eaters.

Absolutely love a fresh DQ+C, always eaten in pairs and with a box of 20 as a chaser.

Loving the Red Stripe / Kev Stripe right of shot - definitely need to see more Dirty Takeaway with their Beers.

Ones of note of late:

seyre1972 - "Estrella or Kev Stripe, Moretti, or San Miguel (or anything else as long as its cold)"
Eski - "San Miguel" (thank you to Soad for correcting my original Stella guess)
Bacon is Proof - "Stella Artois and Henry Weston Vintage 8.2% cider."
Drive Blind - "Pilsner Urquell"
KloppsBarmyArmy - "Couple of cheeky Co-op ales, very tasty"

And yes - am working but sat on a very boring Zoom call (No video thankfully)

That last post made me think. I reckon it's been over a year since I last ate a cheeky McDs.

Literally the only time I'd ever go in would be on the walk home from the Tube after post-work beers, and it would be the same order each time - 5 selects and a double-cheeseburger.

I should probably rectify this soon.

Not really dirty, but people might like to see anyway.

New Honest Burger opened out my way, haven’t had one since lockdown.
Only issue was the ubereats driver spent 20 mins parked outside morrisons the other side of town when he was supposed to be collecting my burger so it took over an hour.

tried the homestyle chicken burger from mcdees. Was rank, Chicken was like old boots, a crust to destroy your teeth. The Bird eye cheap ones are better. Wouldn't recommend one.

Surprised to see a burger that rare. No complaints from me, just surprised from a food hygiene point of view.

Its apparently safer if the meat has been fresh ground, but I suspect they will probably have to jump through a few additional H&S loops, like any UK kitchen that does Steak Tartare.

The thing I hate about all these burger places are the “touches” they all do to try and be unique. The rosemary salted fries at honest are kind of ok but pair them with their onion rings that have cumin and other spices in them and it’s all just weird. They really need to offer the fries with just plain salt

One of the other chains can’t remember which one off the top of my head, grind crispy chicken skin into their salt
