I'm fascinated by regional takeaway stuff.

I've been vegan for 3 years but I'd be sorely tempted if I was ever somewhere that I could get a Parmo laugh
easy to make a vegan one use quorn and vegan cheese..
If you ever find yourself near Bristol this place is great

https://ooweevegan.com/

I'm not Vegan or Veggie but it's great and I have no idea what's in the fake prawns but they just taste like prawns. It's wonderful.

I've been vegetarian for going on 25 years and a piece of Quorn has never passed my lips, vile rubbery shroom rubbish. So most of my life.

Get out.
In fairness, a timely reminder of the 'how do you know someone's a vegan...?' conundrum.
laugh they never can help themselves, can they laugh
TBF I thought it was fine in context as an example of how much I wanted to try a Parmo laugh.

Apologies for lowering the tone of the thread with talk of food without cheap meat in it though.

So you've never tried it but you are sure it's "rubbery shroom rubbish" ok. The 'prawns' definitely aren't Quorn though. But thanks for the input

Standard post swimming filth.

Double bbq quarter pounder. Was “ok”
Could eat it again, which is a concern.

Mixed kebab last night. Not sure what the pepper was but it’s the hottest one I’ve ever eaten!

Isn't this abit of a lazy promotion from Mcds? they had excess BBQ sauce so instead of doing the Big Tasty (until they figure out something else) they decide to just swap out ketchup & mustard and put in BBQ sauce into an already existing burger.

They are very lazy these days. The big tasty comes round far too often and the bbq quarter is just a joke.

As someone who gets a plain Quarter Pounder Cheese and adds half of a pot of bbq sauce to it, this is going to make my life ever so slightly easier the next time I order biggrin

McDs. Really? Dirty takeaway?

If there was a thread titled 'cheap generic tasteless international food' I'd probably get it, but as a dirty takeway it really lacks imagination.

I'm a bit of a healthy eating/exercising bell-end, generally, but out for a walk of an evening and stopping off for an 89p McDonald's hamburger, customised to be stuffed full of extra lettuce & fresh onion is a bargain treat - a consistent quality of chewy, tasteless, genetic international food is no bad thing. Or chicken selects, if there's an offer on the app.

I sometimes pop into IKEA for a hotdog, as a change, but the onions are usually overcooked and I tend to walk out with a billy bookcase or a wavy mirror that I didn't need.
