Speaking of the price of breakfast... who wants a guess at how much my breakfast bap cost me (roughly)?
Worth every penny. That's top work chum; nice one.

Quality wise you need to check out the south African flag on the A21 southbound before Tonbridge turn off.

Butters the buns and cracks the egg well.....

Bolide, that offering was awesome (I’d personally do i5 without tomato, but if presented with it on, would happily devour it).

That’s going to take a lot of beating.

Apologies for no pictures, but a bacon bap from Cranstons in Penrith (winner of best bacon several years) is £2.80 with a hot drink addition for an extra 45p. Bargain. 4 rashers.

Okay so I estimate that the cost of yesterday's home made bap was c. £8.50.

Ah - used to work @ Hildenborough - so always came off the junction before the Tonbridge turning. I need to drop some kit into dealers for for a service @ Sevenoaks Thursday morning. May tag a visit on the new circuitous route back home and checkout the SA place. smile

I really shouldn't, but I'm hooked and want to give it another go soon.

Here's an American article on our favoured topic.

It isn't very nuanced... no mention of oatcakes nor peen.

There are few things worse than double Dibble.

I made a bacon and mushroom flan and I've just had half of it for a late brekkie. It was fantastic and I'm going to try and save the other half for lunch later.

No mushrooms, tomatoes or black pudding, so it's a WIN from me. Yum.

How can you stand the terror of those precariously overhanging items?? What if one plunges to its death?

Indeed. A good breakfast need not be sullied by such things.

Maybe I need bigger plateshehe

A good first entry.

Did you use the two tray oven method for your bacon? Looks very flat.

I dragged the boy shopping. He put this in the trolley.

I’m not sure what I’m doing with it other than discretely chucking it in the bin.
