Edgy. She's been dead a while so I'd expect drier than that

It was absolutely superb and required no additional condiments. Despite it being so filling, it was somehow tasty and light enough to make me want another, immediately.
Bit late to the party, but that looks fking superb - Doreen's BP too so extra points cool

My first humble offering to the thread.

Would happily scoff that. Bacon looks excellent!

I think you'll find it's excess fibre that'll do that wink Oh and off chicken is very effective at clearing you out too. So I hear

Bacon and egg, the ultimate two item sandwich.

Home cured bacon and six egg yolks ( I dump most of the boring old whites.... )

And how to distract your dog from it.. an Alan Partridge style crescent of crisps

Note other crisp brands are available especially if you want a career in the BBC.

This mornings, no sausages so had to make do and mend with some Lorne ones out the freezer - thankfully only a couple left which I can see the dog ending up with!

I just couldn't help myself today. The last for a while, I think.

Butter-tastic

I overlooked the bacon for a second which was on at 250°C but it worked out well

A single medium sized field mushroom

Sausages-- I tried the 'hot Italian' recipe today, which wasn't particularly distinct in character. I forgot to take photos but they're underneath the tomato.

A single large 'Pineapple' tomato which gave more juice than the green ones I've been using

Doreen's snatch

Egg, innit

Doreen's to sample

I asked him to give me a generous 'thumb width' slice -- the result as you can see is a nice crusty crispy exterior and an unctuous interior.

Not sure if it helps, but I was oblivious to its existence until I lived in York - fortunately got a shop 2 mins walk away that always has a healthy stock. Any other black pudding just won't do now frown

It's clear that once you've tasted Doreen's, no other will do.
