Olive ciabatta, streaky bacon, toms and an experimentation with egg in a dessert pot lined with olive oil.

Waitrose sourdough rolls with sausages loads of butter and a bit of Davidstow cheddar

Delicious.

I think that the first time I've seen a sausage and cheese roll. Do not want.

Baked eggs work but you have to time them well not to end up with a McDonald’s style cooked through hockey puck

Yeah that’s more like it. The other way to do it is to grease a ramakin fill it with mushrooms tomatoes etc and then beat the eggs and fill so it makes like a breakfast soufflé that’s good

Okay, that'll be interesting. In actual fact, I did crack this over the pre-grilled toms.

No pics because I scoffed it immediately, but this afternoons brunch was a BLT. Haven't had one for ages, just had a hankering. Marvelous combination

Good morning Breakfast fans.

An absolutely lovely brekkie if I do say so myself...

First we start off with good quality ingredients

Spread a slither of onion chutney on the base of your rolls

Turn the sausages in to patties and grill for a while, add the bacon shortly after...

Get your egg rings on the go

Serve with plastic cheese and tomato sauce

I am now going to drink Guinness until I pass out.

Happy Saturday!

Very nice - I'd like to know more about how a sausage becomes a pattie - how many to each one?

Also, why deny us the final shot of the squashed bad boy ready to eat? You must have been properly hank marvin to forego your duties to the thread and dive right in laugh

Haven’t had a working kitchen in a while so I’ve not posted much but Mrs Knocked up some poached eggs today which were bootiful.

Great eggs, but why is that the most magnificent piece of toast I've ever seen?

After yesterday's exoticism chez moi it's a return to an old favourite today.

A substantial plate of pre-walk winning smugness.

Good morning all. A breakfast ciabatta today.

Butter, streaky bacon, halloumi, sausage, toms, spicy salsa supplemented with chipotle and habanero sauce, mushrooms and Craig's suggestion of whisking the egg with mushrooms.

The eggs were a hockey puck but the upsides are that they're stable and tasty.

Yeah it takes practice to get them just right. Looks good though

Was more brunch than breakfast

Black pudding dry fried until crispy
Sautéed Chestnut Mushrooms
C&B beans with sausages reduced sauce in the microwave
Scrambled eggs under the mushrooms, on top of a slice of wholemeal toast

Mug of tea and an orange juice out of shot.
