The Great Breakfast photo thread (Vol. 2)
Discussion
I live on a boat so pirate rules apply which are admittedly quite different, especially with regards to when it is acceptable to start drinking.
Don't have a fridge so brekkie is often leftovers otherwise they'd go to waste. At least it is actual food and not McMuck.
I'm house sitting near a half decent butchers soon so promise to post pics of a proper fry-up. There will be no toast.

Asking for a friend, if it's the first meal of day but eaten in the afternoon does it still count as breakfast?
Stew has been considered breakfast here, so I'd say it's safe to assume the above does count as breakfast.EDIT

Good to hear :-) Expect some photos in a bit, also it seems my friend has found a non square plate...
EDIT
Kudos. That's very good. I'm gratified particularly by the portobello mushroom. Generally under-utilised and under-appreciated.EDIT

Also a cheerful, homely and satisfying 'piled-high' character.
Nice to see the BP as the centrepiece - not a popular plating convention, but there's nothing wrong with it.

I share the widespread admiration for that, but for my tastes it's over-sausaged. 2 would have been ideal (with mustard of course). Good to see a grown-up's mushroom. Nice work. I am worried about the direction of this thread.....porridge.... too many sausages......has it been hijacked?

This is the GREAT breakfast thread, isn't it? Not a wimpy, "I've got a sore tummy from all the sausages" nonscene thread!

Regardless, a great breakfast doesn't have to have sausages. It could have sausages, indeed many do have sausages. But too many sausages is certainly A Thing. Hence over-sausaged.
I contend that in this instance, Gluggy's combo of BP, bacon and 4 fat snorkers represents an over-abundance of the otherwise-delectable meat-filled tube.
I understand the claim that spare sausages are handy just in case, but don't buy that as a compelling argument here. In closing, I don't claim for a moment that the Oracle has spoken, but, well ...
Spare sausages just in case sounds like something from The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy or was that towels? There was one left over though which is currently being guarded in the kitchen by the four legged dustbin.
Definitely a full plate but was bloody starving and wouldn't have been enough left for another fry up so had to take one for the team :-)
BrabusMog, pic is straight from camera, think quite a lot of natural light in the kitchen, dark worktops and an old phone confuses the camera so it over exposes / messes with contrast a little.
