Hi all, I’m guessing amongst the collective we have some well travelled people with an interest in gastronomy as well as cars. Mrs BigMig and myself are currently in Nice, cycling holiday rather than driving so no Aston.
As per the title I’m looking for a good seafood restaurant recommendation?
Thanks in advance

Hi! Not exactly in Nice, but there are some nice restaurants with harbour views at Villefranche Sur Mer.

(Not been during Covid situation though)

It's been a while since I was there but Le Petit Ecailler de La Douce on Cours Saleya does some really rather nice seafood platters and simple dishes without the poncy presentation and fk-you attitude of most of the expensive restaurants I've been to over the years in Nice...(which is why I made a note of its details).

Comptoire du Marche. We go every year, at least once while we're there.

I live in Cannes for 6 months a year, so I know places. biggrin

Les Belles Rives suggested above is fantastic, Scott Fitzgerald lived at the hotel there for some time back in the 20s.

Many restaurants around the flower market in the evenings.
It’s at the end of the promenade des Anglais ,going towards Monaco.
I Would also recommend african queen for lunch in beaulieu sur mer .

We visited Nice in November a few years ago and went for a meal at ‘La Reserve’ on the east side of the port, on Bvd Franck Pilatte. Fantastic place and great food. Staff were good too and the view of the sea crashing round the lido area was lovely.
