budweiser budvar is what I'm drinking at the moment. absolutely lovely.
I'll second this, its literally the only alcoholic thing I drink now and has been for months.Multi-buy offer at Tesco makes it slightly more affordable, get it in the fridge for a few hours first and there's nothing better.
Personally I like Warsteiner or Bitburger. I also like Kozel if you can find it (especially Kozel Dark).
If you’re up for expanding your beery horizons, then I suggest trying a subscription service like Beerhawk or Beerbods. I’ve used Beerbods for the last 6 or 7 years and they send you 8 beers every 8 weeks. The idea is you drink one beer a week that they suggest, then go online for live tasting events with other drinkers.
I don’t bother with all this and just drink them as I please, however the point is that in those 7 years I’ve never had the same beer twice, and they specifically select beers you can’t buy in supermarkets. Some are great, some OK and some downright horrible. But variety is the spice of life!
As a more left-field option, if you ever find yourself in Prague go to a brewery/restaurant called U Fleku. They do a lovely brown lager which can only be bought on the premises.

Like said hard to better a decent pils form the Czech or that region...
That said I particularly enjoy the rivertown lager McMullens do, slightly hoppy while balanced and refreshing.
Also if still doing the low alc thing, I tried some low (0.5-2%) alc beers (out of curiosity, mainly) that were being offered for tasting in a majestic wine, back in the olden freedom times. They seemed pleasant enough although not of much interest in general to me - following a broadly low carb diet I make my carb treats count - although if they were being offered sometime when I was driving it'd be nice, just to "have a drink in your hand".

My beer of choice is the past year has become Gamma Ray (IPA) by Beavertown. Lovely. Punk IPA and Brixton IPA are good too, but like any type of beer there are many that are a bit 'meh'. Same with Lagers. Beavertown also do Neckoil and Lupiloid, with Jaipur (not sure who makes this) another good one.
It also depends where you drink. If at home you can order un/buy any beer but once in the pub you're a bit more limited.

Its definitely lagers I'm looking to explore, think I've drank all of the readily available IPAs on the market, punk IPA was always a favourite of mine but now it tastes like some over the top enhanced beer that is quite far removed from what a traditional beer should taste. Some fantastic suggestions so far! I've tried a couple this week and this one has taken my fancy, Heverlee Belgian lager. Clean, crisp and refreshing with a pleasantly bitter after taste. The overall flavour isn't too strong and overpowering. It was the bottle that initially caught my eye.
Very similar to Budvar, pilsner malt and saaz hops although Budvar tends to be a few shades darker than most pilsners (probably some Munich or Vienna malt in the recipe) this gives it a slightly more complex malt profile. At this point you've probably been through the full list of recommendations, but I'm going to be unimaginative and echo what others have said - Warsteiner. The aftertaste is more tart than is typical, but that's at least part of the reason it's my favourite pint. It's different to Heverlee but I think worth a go too.
In my experience Sainsbury's stock it, as well as some larger Tesco and Asda branches.
