I think this should be in the health section.... sorry its not a restaurant.

This week I forgot to sort my lunch out so I drove to a nearby McDonald's drive through.
The meal that I chose was near on 1,000 calories.

It was tepid. Reminded me that every meal I've had from there is tepid.

My point is how are there constant queues at such places? Such love. Yes its convenient but so is a pork pie.

Looking at the board the calories counts are off the scale. Really bloody are.

How have we've sleep walked into putting up with such a place on every street literally.

They aren't on every street 'literally'. If they were, the queues would be shorter.

This. I really enjoy it, occasionally.

The problem is now I've said it for the next week you'll see McDonald's branding everywhere...

Convenient, consistent, cheap, quick, reasonably tasty.

Although as a powerfully built PH director I feel obliged to add that I personally never eat that muck. We make burgers from fresh Kobe beef slaughtered each morning by me and my sons whilst my wife bakes a fresh batch os sourdough bread...

I’m not sure a pork pie is any more healthy to be honest.

Exactly. Old age sounds crap anyway. Who needs to live to 90 odd?!

Burger on its own isn’t that bad, or a wrap of the day they call it ! Ok not exactly healthy but far worse and probably still in your daily calorie allowance if you don’t go crazy.

Well you're less likely to find pork pie wrappers littering the countryside and laybys everywhere.

Maybe a better class of people eat pork pies ?
Rather than the scummy litterbugs who tend to frequent McDonald's?

What is your point? If you closed McDonald’s you stop litter?

Because it tastes nice and it's reasonably cheap and you can go to pretty much any McDonalds pretty much anywhere in the world and know exactly what you're getting.

Yeah, it says that the data showed them where the virus is more likely to move from 1 person to another?

“I have seen a shop. I do not like the things in that shop. There are 40,000 of these shops in 120 countries around the world. Why do people like the products they sell? I will not change my view. Discuss”

It would certainly help reduce it if there were no drivethru's?

Sooner they print registration numbers on the receipt/and or packing the better.

Don't you see much McDonald's litter strewn about?

Usually in laybys or hedgerows or depending how far it takes them to eat the food before discarding the packaging out of the window.
