I'm surprised there isn't a rule about not serving pints with dinners off the Kid's Menu.
That has to be a 99p jobby.

The small breakfast at £2.99 is exactly the same as the kids breakfast, which is £2.25 and comes with an apple bag and smoothie. I know as I went the Wetherspoons yesterday morning with my kids and my youngest had the kids breakfast. Edited the photo to remove my 5 year olds face, apple bag and smoothie in shot.

spoons bacon comes in pre-cooked and is just flashed on the griddle to warm it up.

That look good, I had the Scottish breakfast* with an an additional hash brown this morning for the pricey sum of £3.60 smile.

  • Scottish breakfast consists of beans, fried egg, link sausage, black pudding, bacon, fried potato scone and a slice of toast.

The Scottish breakfast sounds very tasty, not seen it on the menu down south. Burns week at the Spoons is fast approaching starting 22nd January, last year we tried the haggis, neeps and tatties and it was very good with a similar menu this year including Ossian beer from the Inveralmond brewery.

Last pic of the 'small' Freedom breakfast at £2.99 from the Wycombe branch, coffee £1.29 including several refills (I'm attempting a dry Tuesday at least until 4pm)

Cheers in advance beer

It's £3.30 for a non-blurry one.

because most people who consume it have just been released from prison and head straight to spoons for 10 pints of stella and a fry up?

I'm currently doing the "Zoe" diet program and it has most of wetherspoons menu within the app with the diet scoring.

I've noticed the Freedom Breakfast is healthier than the small breakfast. Lower in fat although slightly higher in calories and can be eaten on the Zoe diet.

Maybe because its virtually free to buy and the head chef is called Dom? scratchchin

This is the Freedom breakfast at Beaconsfield services, they even include a bowl for the baked beans, does it get any posher than that?
After all that hiking, eating and drinking it was a relief to safely get back to base camp.

Tim Martin’s joke because he was a Brexiteer. It used to be called simply “the Breakast” until after the 2016 vote.

It's mostly the first meal newly released prisoners eat, whilst having several pints and getting their next fix.
