the sliced up doner can be done oven, air fryer or pan. Personally i prefer pan because you can then cook it up with some onions and add in a chili sauce if you want heat, and/or splash of lemon. alternative...buy the seekh kebabs, they can be microwaved from frozen and only take afew minutes.
Seekh kebabs are in the World Food part of the freezer section at Asda. They were on offer for Eid so I stocked up.

This was the steak before slicing and serving. British Prime Rib -

A little bit left going in a pitta with chilli sauce when I get back later.

Thankfully, tasted better than it looked. Sort-of indoor barbecue!

Is that the Humza brand ones? Would you recommend then? I absolutely love tandoori sheek / shish kebabs so any recommendations gratefully received!

Things often taste better than they look. Won't be long until someone enquires what kind of sauce you had underneath!

Looks like burger sauce and pickles.
Also quite edible as it doesnt appear to have been shot from a blunderbus on to the plate

I can't specifically see burger sauce, or any sauce. Maybe I need to zoom in more.

Nevertheless, another fine example of taste trumping looks.

There was Samurai sauce under the burger, and gherkins obviously. In a bid to remain firmly unpretentious, every single product involved came from Lidl.

In a jar with vinegar in the fridge? Bought some from aldi/diddly and use all the time

Gonna sound like a weirdo now, the way that tomato in the middle has been sliced does the equivalent of making mu teeth itch

Everything else has been sliced nice and fine but the tomato is cut on the wonk, probably abit of undiagnosed adhd on my part but I would need it all slicing the same

Would still chow down though(after hiding/eating the tom)

Yes… a jar in the back of the fridge i’d almost forgotten about. I think I picked them for wraps back in the late summer… still lovely and crunchy.

The tomatoes are thinly sliced… but then I’ve halved them after, hence how they appear. But I think the presentation is still world class compared to some of the stuff in here hehe

I thought I’d try a softer way to say don’t be a tit over the slicing of a tomato. But my ADHD kicked in.

Tbh if I'm complaining about annoying phrases on this thread it should be giving my head a wobble!
