I took it in portrait mode, but I'm not sure why the aspect ratio is so extreme.
It's also very blurred, anyway, what is it ? smile

It's not the photo that's blurred, it's actually the sag aloo and vegetable samosa. They just always look like that.

Years ago I took a customer out for lunch at his favourite pub. He recommended either the fish and chips, or the faggots. I went for the faggots and they where 'kin fantastic! lick

When I went shopping next, I was down the freezer aisle and saw Brains Faggots, so I bought some! Oh my God, they where awful, soggy tasteless crap! hurl
I think your local butchers will make faggots for you, with an order for them. If you have a local butcher, of course! Like Pubs, sadly, a dying breed!

Looks like there's something missing, shouldn't there be some carbs? There looks like there's something else on the picture on the box.

Mash Potato.

Quite a lot of piccies of food in this thread seems to miss a food group, usually veg.

Unpretentious shouldn’t mean not nutritious.

Had bread and butter as it happened - maybe you'd prefer my previous attempt using my local butchers faggots that I turned into a casserole.............

I’d be stuffed with 1 pie and half the mash, proper portion you’re got!

redcard Hark at the cordon bleu haute cuisine, with your fancy plates and wilted tomatoes. Those aside that is a solid contribution to the thread, you can't go wrong with a mystery meat pie. hehe

Steak & mushroom pie from my local butcher outlet, buttery mash, tinned mushy peas, aunt Bessie’s frozen Yorkshire pudding. Made the mash myself so that’s maybe a little pretentious

It was ace, not comparable to supermarket pies. The butcher's outlet do really good quality stuff so the meat in the pie is slow cooked and falls apart, and the pie gravy is a red-wine based one.
