Impressive quantity of fish fingers.
Bonus points for creating one of the driest looking meals I've seen in quite a while biggrin
I would stir the peas into the potato mash.

Not as dry as it looked. “Igloo” fish fingers (German Birdseye equivalent) shallow fried so crispy outside with moist fish, also splashed with a little Sarsons; buttery mash with more butter; briefly cooked peas soon to be (a) picked up with a fork-full of mash and (b) dolloped in ketchup for that Council touch. More fish fingers for seconds. I enjoyed it…

I always have salad cream with fish fingers and mash. It's really good.

What's with the obsession people have with sauce/juice?! Perfectly acceptable to eat food that isn't accompanied with some sort of liquid on it/next to it. I accept there maybe medical conditions that make swallowing drier food more difficult.

if a roast is done well, then I don't want it covered in gravy. Same goes with a steak I'd rather have fish fingers without condiments as it just overpowers it.

Galle Face hotel pub in Sri Lanka, after a few pints of Lion Invincible, 6%. Plate of fries with cheese sauce topped with very spicy keema lamb. Absolutely dirty and delicious. Ate the whole lot then 15 mins later ordered another.

The empty space on your plate suggests you forgot the beans.

It was the space the ketchup saucer came into the lounge in, peas with no cutlery might be tricky!

Garlic cubes and battered chicken goujons shoved in a Brioche bap, all from butchers round corner. And made some chicken gravy for dipping from one of those gravy paste jars in fridge.
