1st stew of the season, 30 mins in the crockpot pressure cooker.
IR confused. I thought crockpot was another name for a slow cooker, which is kind of the opposite to a pressure cooker? Looks lick

It's handy enough you can use it for a temp controlled water bath.

Same here tonight, pie and mash and peas, wanted comfort food. About the only thing pretentious was the peas, I find petit pois boring so sautéed these in garlic butter and seasoned well with cracked black pepper and salt, turned out quite nice

If you hadn't said anything no-one would have known.

Served on chopping boards is rather pretentious and yet also a bit council. Tricky one.

Lol no, however both the wife and myself use our cutlery as lefties, the youngest (who wasn't there) is left handed.

Pls don’t bundle all lefties into your sordid fetishes, I’m a lefty and enjoy regular cutlery positions.

No time to cook properly tonight so picked up all this from Sainsburys, bunged oven on for half hour and sorted. Was v tasty to be fair.

BBQ shredded brisket with coleslaw and bbq onion jam in brioche buns, cheese & bacon potato skins and some cous cous.
