Do any of you chaps have any experience of buying online through websites such as http://www.bestofbritishbeer.co.uk or similar? I'm finding it harder to buy a decent variety nearby to me and would be nice to be able to send a crate or two to Norfolk easily.
Any experiences?
I fail to see how you can go wrong, choose your beer, pay your money, wait for the posty and finally drink your beer....Any experiences?

If you're in Norfolk these guys are close (they also have a physical store) - http://www.beersofeurope.co.ukAny experiences?

I was near Slough/Windsor a few weeks back and I like a decent ale. I came across this:
Definitely one, if not the best beers I've ever tasted. I had it up next to a Doombar and it was completely different. Miles better, and I quite like Doombar.
From the website...
"Pure UBU (4.5% ABV) is our strongest and darkest beer: a distinctive, full flavoured beer with a sweeter finish. Brewed with English Maris Otter, Crystal, Black and Wheat malts, with Hallertau Northern Brewer and Cascade hops."
I may actually buy one of their mini casks off the website.

I don't know if it's just psychological, but it doesn't seem as nice now it's Coors-owned.kippax said:

My favourite draught ale but only about 5th favourite bottled ale. Some Definately bottle better than others. Picked up this for tonight's tipple, fresh from the brewery, nom nom nom...

A visit to the mother in law's, and she'd been to Adnams and bought a couple of bottles of their "Jack Brand Innovation IPA" - at 6.7% a little stronger than I'd usually go for but what a lovely tipple. Not seen this before, but apparently they do 6 different beers and lagers under this sub label - has anyone else tried / can recommend any of these?
Brilliant statement against CAMRA. I've been saying the same for years.

CAMRA is an outdated organisation that just isn't for for purpose anymore.
It's pathetic that CAMRA won't even discuss it at the AGM. Then again the chances of ever winning a vote is slim. 73% of members voted for a big change before and lost.
