Here's a thing (no pics, but you know what it looks like). For the last couple of days I've eaten Smoked Basa (aka River Cobbler) in lieu of Smoked Haddock and I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference in a blind tasting. I'm told it's much cheaper and more sustainable.

No photos as it was only a Spoons breakfast but, whilst ordering, I spied some Henderson's relish behind the bar next to the spirits for some reason so I asked if I could have some for my brekkie and they let me. Bloody marvellous stuff! I ordered some ages ago but it hasn't turned up and this jogged my memory, need to chase this up later!

I'm popping out after work to see my man with the eggs, and will be passing by Sainbury's who appear to stock Henderson's. Tomorrow morning's breakfast is taking shape already.

Re Henderson's, my supermarket app shows it's only got limited online availability everywhere except maybe Morrisons have it on the shelf. Certainly not in Sainsbo's, Tesco nor Co-op.

Yep, Sainsbury's had none here and it's a big branch but it was listed online. Swines. Unfortunately I am working via WebEx this morning so my breakfast may well be lunch

It's in my local Waitrose and Sainsburys, but that is Yorkshire and it is "local".

Amazon also have it.

Another quick and simple breakfast, Canadian bacon, eggs, pancakes. Maple syrup not added at time of photo.

Inexpressibly disappointing.

fks sake. No wonder they’re so odd if that’s what constitutes a flying start to the day.

Christ. Minutes silence for that.

Happy with that tbh, but eggs to be eaten separately in advance of the rest.

That looks bloody good. It needs HP instead of the red sugar sauce, but other than that.

Quick and simple today, chorizo and cheddar folded eggs( somewhere between scrambled and a omelette) with avocado on sourdough

That's how I do eggs too, as in folded. Here they are called daddy's special eggs though.

There is almost as much sugar in brown sauce as there is in red.
