Mr Roper - hash browns should ironically, be more bronze, they look as though they have been warmed in your palms and the scrambled eggs are chin scratchily pale; bacon looks perfect, as do the mushrooms and tomatoes; I hate undercooked tomatoes biggrin Tapping into my 'greek' heritage, that plate would get smashed.
The hash browns were pretty good to be fair...The eggs didn't photo very well. They were laid that morning and cooked with nothing but butter and salt.

Agree about the the plates.
I scrolled up again. My admiration for your bacon, as we approach lunchtime, has grown immensely thumbup

That's what I had in mind when considering Mr Roper's hash browns. Crisp and crunch.

That looks tremendous. The application of brown sauce using a spirograph is also a nice touch.

I really need work on the presentation, but I repeated last week's effort for my daughter this morning.

The spicy chorizo beans gets a big thumbs-up from us both.

Chorizo beans? Sounds fantastic where did you get them, or are they just seasoned normal beans?

Home made, but highly recommended. The spiciest, most piquant chorizo you can find, sliced and quartered and then dry-fried to crispy, then add beans. Heat gently with adequate beanage reduction; delicious.

It really lifts the humble bean to an echelon above 'oops and other wannabe starchy comestibles.

Could also be Aldi oven bottom muffins.

Sheldon’s oven bottom muffins. £1 for 6. The oven bottom is rife locally being in Manchester. Have done the Aldi ones. Obviously the local bakery is the way to go for the ultimate OBM, but the supermarkets round here are hugely consistent. The Supermarket ones are at their best, very carefully halved, cut side toasted and then leathered with fillings as above. Toasting the cut side only allows a firm holding of excessive fillings by the bread and the outer muffin is now soft and pliable for ease of handling and consumption of large mouthfuls without severe deformation, consistent to the last bite. Today’s were just that.

Definitely on the list. The oil off that chorizo used on mushrooms, fried eggs, fried bread as well, possibly wasted in the beans? Thoughts CdG? Have you experimented further?

Is this just st hot beanage and fking leave it that way?

Some Chorizo can produce a lot of oil and, if yours did, it might spoil beans so would be worth draining off to use for bacon or eggs or whatever. The stuff I've been using hasn't produced much so hasn't made the beans greasy, although the cooking smoke has made my eyes run!

Seriously chaps, try it. Dead easy, and worth the minimal effort.

I thought I was the only one to do this! I normally fry the chorizo in a saucepan then drain them on a kitchen towel whilst cooking the beans.

Anyone within travelling distance of St Paul's in London, might want to pop in to 'Epic Pies' for a Full English Tart at a reasonable £7.95+. Those are proper sausages, take note, BrabusMog.
