And a heart attack

Breakfast looks good though, sausages a bit brown for me though but for the price of a spoons breakfast I can’t fault it.

You do. Might be hiding, eaten, or missing.

Exactly what I thought when she brought it over but held back challenging it.
I then interrogated the menu, which did confirm my suspicions that it is indeed supposed to be supplied with two fried eggs.
Just as I was about to enquire about my missing egg I thought I'd check the other items, and low and behold the 2nd missing egg was actually hiding underneath the other egg.
So in fact it did have the advertised two eggs supplied.
Lucky I didn't say anything as i would have had "egg" on my face.

Similar story to my most recent Spoons Large.

Except my portobello mushroom wasn’t hiding. It was missing.

Woe.

I didn’t follow it up. Life’s to short and Spoons is too good. Big fan, Tim. Big fan.

Why can't they get the temperature correct on a 'spoons breakfast, It's either too hot or bloody freezing?

I don't think that you can complain that food is served too hot!

“Very popular in the Netherlands” should be a mandatory warning on the packet, like the food equivalent of a blackened lung.

Chocolate for breakfast. Get a grip Marco van Basten.

Scrambled eggs with the now traditional Emmenthal, granary toast and mushrooms gently braised in butter.

No chocolate products or ketchup to sully the joy of a fine breakfast.

Ok - so not the norm .... (well for me anyway). I’d usually partake in a cooked EB, with Chips and Beans/Hoops and Black pudding !!

Sat in London Heathrow, Virgin Club lounge, and yes that is a cocktail (Virgin RedHead). With Breakfast - mug of tea out of shot.

That looks nice.

Not breakfast but I do like emmenthal and parma ham / prosciutto in a nicely buttered and freshly baked bap. Worth a try!
