That's a decent plateful! How much was that in your neck of the woods?

£6.95 plus coffee.

It's become a favourite due to the crispy hash browns, can't stand the soggy ones.

That looks the business, not one of those monster platefuls we see, bacon, scrambled and mushrooms all done to the degree I like.

Is that haggis at the front of the plate?

Basic fry up cooked on a camping stove in my temporary kitchen while we wait for the real kitchen to be completed. Bacon tastes best cooked on camping gas!!

Excuse the melted spatula, gave Shakshuka a try this morning. It was very nice.

While in Hawaii I had the traditional breakfast of 'loco moco' it looks like a pile of slop, but was quite tasty. They don't half overdo it on the portion size though. Basically white rice, beefburger patty, two eggs, and onion gravy.

"Loco moco is a meal in the contemporary cuisine of Hawaii. There are many variations, but the traditional loco moco consists of white rice, topped with a hamburger patty, a fried egg, and brown gravy"

rice with brown gravy, not sure
fried egg with brown gravy, not sure
burger with brown gravy, not sure.

Everyone knows they should have used yellow gravy.

Those pacific island simpletons.

I would crawl over broken glass to get that. Moving to yankland is great overall but some things just can't be beaten.

It filled me up so much that I didn't want anything else until late in the evening.
