My current favourite. Not that spicy but really flavourful and doesn't taste like the Peri-Peri stuff we have in the UK.

This one is highly recommended.

Chilli, soy sauce, garlic, great umami taste.

That looks good and a decent small bottle too. Is it available in the UK?

I got it from the Chilli Shop in Leeds but most of the online Chilli shops in the UK seem to shop it and you can get it on Amazon too.

There's another that isn't a Ghost Pepper version too but I haven't tried that yet...

Not at home at the moment so no picture but try the range from Heriot Hott up in Edinburgh. A (very) small indie producer but doing some great work!

All his stuff is vegan friendly if that's a concern. I'm a sucker for anything with pineapple in it so the Pineapple & Habenero is the one for me at the moment.

I’ve a bottle of the Louisiana sauce, unopened, that has gone out of date. As it’s basically vinegar, I assume it will still be ok? It might even have ‘matured’ and made it better smile

Had to re-register due to an overzealous mod, pathetic, but anyway I digress -

New favourite, good heat, great flavour, my new goto instead of the Ribman -

Frank's RedHot Chargrilled Habanero Craft Hot Sauce 135 ML, Pack of 6, Cayenne Pepper, Suitable For Vegans & Vegetarians, No Artificial Flavourings, Colours & Added MSG https://amzn.eu/d/cPi4Bz2

I'll give it a go. Franks standard hot sauce is excellent, and I'm more inclined to reach for a hot sauce than a fking burn your cock off and die sauce, these days.

Anything worth ordering on Amazon? I've had a browse and it all looks samey. Can't really trust the reviews as everyone's tolerance is different. What's ketchup to me might be inedible to others. In this instance I'm looking for flavour rather than ultimate heat.

Try the Franks I listed above, it’s really good, not too vinegary like the usual Franks and a sublime smokey flavour with a heat level on a par with the Extra Hot Encona West Indian sauce.

Nice. I could drink encona by the bucket. Anything else worth checking out on Amazon?

I like these from South Africa as table condiments for burgers, chips etc:

You can get them here in the UK from the SA shops.

It isn’t super-hot but tastes great.

I'm a big fan of spicy food, but SWMBO hates it. The answer? Encona West Indian hot pepper sauce smile It has a nice balance of flavour and kick, but I find myself wanted a bit more heat..... so, I tried a few more:

Never tried Encona before as didn't think it was that hot. Chucked some on some chicken wings tonight, wow thats got some kick.

The Encona range is great, hot, but not stupidly so and a good flavour, cheap too.

Sadly Scotch bonnets turn my guts inside out, not sure why they do and other varieties of chilli don’t have the same effect.

Been mentioned before, but Elliot Eastwick stuff is good too, also a fan of the Condimaniac range.
