Not a huge Stones fan, but this is awesome.

But I am a huge Pistols fan, and this early performance...wow...Lydon just has star quality.

Some people might think this is just scene stealing and over the top but I think it just shows how great a guitarist he is.

Enjoyed that.

Although not respected as a guitarist, I'm always reminded of that lightning quick A aeolian run he plays at the start of When Doves Cry

That was an outstanding gig and probably equal favourite ever for me(with The Cure Wembley 1989), absolute ideal venue for kraftwerk.
Wonder if they would play the velodrome in Calshot idea

Saw Queen in 86 and I can find myself on the video. Brilliant.
Saw G'n'R the same year, great but even back then you had to wait for Axle, what a cock.
Fields of the Nephilim have just released a live DVD of the Astoria gig 4 years ago, that's worth a look if you like their style.

I've also seen them live at a Polish power station (Nova Hute) which was pretty damn good too

Antony Bray aka Abaddon is one of the nicest people in metal I've ever met, and he's got loads of funny stories to tell about Venom, home made pyros indeed.
Having watched it again, just how good is the Slayer/Machine Head take in the linked videos?!

So many NIN great live performances this is one of the best.

In the same vein, Aerosmith unplugged covering the Doors "Love me two times".

Rolling Stones; Gimme Shelter, for Lisa Fisher's superb performance
