Amazing track, reminds me of Fragile era NIN. Really looking forward to the album in september (Pre-ordered on the website already) and quite tempted to splash out on a Reading Festival day ticket just to see them.

Sadly the wife doesn't share my love of all things Reznor and keeps asking me to "Turn down that infernal racket."

Trent Reznor is a hack...and a good one at that too..

Johnny Cash put him to shame

Good track - I like the newer albums, but its great to hear a track that's closer to their roots and even cooler that the original artist has done the artwork for the track, also. Really looking forward to the full album.

With Gary Numan supporting at some US shows. Superb combination.

redface I was unaware of that one. Crikey. I'm currently torn between that and the Cash version. Thank you for the heads up.

Ne wlabum landed today. First listen on the way into work and really like it. It's very, very stripped back and there's a lot less guitars with the distortion turned up to 11.

Watched them play last weekend, really enjoyed there sound but found the lack of crowd interaction not so good , I think he said one thing the whole set and that was Fcensoredk Rock n Roll ,
they walked off stage without even saying a word,, just really odd ....this may be there thing but I found it disrespectful and a bit of a let down , shame really

I've seen them a couple of times and while not the chattiest of front men he did interact with the crowd a bit.

Reminds me of New Order gigs in the 80s when they used to walk off leaving the sequencer running. In a recent interview Trent Reznor mentioned that he's pretty much still getting to grips with the festival scene.

New album's good - been thrashing the 'Audiophile' version in the car. Will try the 'Loud' version today.

Definitely a return to form.
Had the Pretty Hate Machine album blasting out all summer and new stuff is almost like a return to that industrial synth sound, but using up-to-date tech gear.
A real grower I think.

Reading/ Leeds? I think there'd been some fuss as they supposedly didn't get to use their full stage set-up I think.
Anyway, I have been enjoying the new album. Need to listen it through a bit more, but a good bunch of tracks on it I'm really liking so far!

The club show they did at the Scala in London was something like the 7th or 8th time I've seen them, and Reznor has never been the most communicative of frontmen.

Glad to see them back, and the new album has been growing on me - not as immediate as his side project (How to Destroy Angels), but good all the same.

Liking that (as is the missus!).

Can't believe I've just found out about the album though...saw they were doing Reading/Leeds, but the line-up wasn't worth paying just for NIN*. Hopefully they'll re-tour again next year, but this time get outside of London and the festivals...

* Not when I saw them twice in '09 - their "last ever" UK tour and the "last ever" European gig at Sonisphere (the former, where they played a cool mix, with a lot of old or less-obvious tracks, inc. Down In It ( bounce ), was far better than the rather self-indulgent S'sphere set).
