TheThe at the RAH then a few days later at The Troxy.
Waited so long to see them again since 2002.

Have you seen them before?

I see they are playing in Bournemouth so might be worth a trip down.

I'm a Big Smiths fan so don't want to be disappointed
I haven't, but 80sMatchbox has (mentioned above) and he said they were very good! From what I've read, they're very good as well. They apparently focus on the music, rather than the looks - which suits me fine!
I've seen them seven or eight times, impeccably good musically and Graham (Morrissey) has the great man's voice and mannerisms down to a tee, you won't be disappointed!

My brother is a massive fan, he got RAH and Brixton tickets, I'm going to the latter with him. Really looking forward to it, we played 'Infected' to death as teenagers.

I seem to be doing nothing but tribute bands these days, 80% of the act for 25% of the cost in better venues and no ticket issues with Ticketmaster.
Saw Noel Gallagher's High Flying Carpets last weekend, quite impressive.
And tickets have arrived for A Tribute To Manchester V3 at the Manchester Academy in December
The Clone Roses, Oasish, The Smiths Ltd, The Verve Experience, and Clint Boon as the DJ in between. rotate

Swindon, but Bristol/Oxford are my nearest venues. I'd check them out if I wasn't at The Sherlocks tomorrow night!

Thought they were pretty good when I saw them in Brussels on Monday, and seeing Therapy? again made it well worth the effort to get a ticket.

Hadn't seen Therapy? since the mid-90's at least, and the last time I'd seen Eldritch & co was in a tent at Sonisphere six years ago when he turned up looking like he'd just stumbled out from a rave in a luminous tracksuit..
I was there too, saw them at the roundhouse last year (I think) as well and he was sporting a tracksuit then. They do have some cracking tunes.
I saw the Sisters in Bristol last December, been on my bucket list for years, love their stuff. But there were shocking. I even paid to stay over and make a night of it, was gutted.

Def Leppard are my bet for Sunday night next year. Prophets of Rage would also be another safe bet, if they don't get snapped up by a bigger UK festival first.

Booked Morbid Angel for November (killer new/old line up) and Cannibal Corpse for next March. Going old school back end of this year as also have Mastodon and Memoriam coming up soon.

Took my daughter to see The Maine last Sunday, much better night than I was expecting as they were much better live than they are on record.

This year I've been slacking, I thnk I've only been to 2 gigs so far;

David Ford at The Donkey in Leicester in June
David Ford again at The Met Lounge in Peterborough last week

Tomorrow I'm seeing The Big Moon at Coventry Central Library which will be interesting
a Dire Straits 'tribute' act in November
Possibly The Charlatans in November at Nottingham Rock City
Shed Seven in December in Brixton, last time I saw them they were amazing so I'm looking forward to that one.
