I'd just like to say that Green Day at Luxembourg's Rockhal on Monday night were absolutely fking awesome!
Aome lucky 13 y.o got on stage and played lead guitar in 1 track, then got to keep the guitar!

I'd love to see GD again. 11/10!

Most of the tickets I buy are under £20 each.
Ditto! For me it is a win-win situation. You're getting a cheaper ticket and also a smaller venue. I can't stand big venues, so don't bother with them.

I'm going from one extreme to the other this week:

Friday - Guns n Roses at the Olympic Stadium
Saturday - Royal Blood at The New Slang Club in Kingston

Both should be great in different ways. I saw RB in 2014 in Kingston, be interested to see how they are now.

Going to be hanging on Sunday

I saw them before their EP came out, and then at the end of the tour following the first album. Far more professional, and quite a bit more "rock and roll" than the first time!

I've got Mark Lanegan on Monday, really looking forward to that one.
Saw him supporting Guns N Roses in Slane, Ireland a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed. Hes a man of few words between songs. hehe

Booked to see him in Manchester next wednesday. Really looking forward to it.

RB supported GnR in Slane, Ireland a few weeks ago. Both acts were fantastic. GnR were amazing. They did a cover of Black Hole Sun which was very moving.

Really? I pre-ordered mine and had to shell out a tenner, yes a TENNER!

Just got back to the hotel after watching Radiohead, in Florence. Great gig, wish I could be going to Glastonbury.

I prefer that than when they blather on for hours rather than playing. When I saw PJ Harvey last year I was worried that she'd do some of her poetry, but I got lucky and she said may be two words the whole evening. Was pretty brutal in the end as they played 20 songs pretty much back to back the whole evening.

Having missed out on Iron Maiden and Metallica tickets, my luck has somewhat changed this week. Managed to get Mastodon tickets in Wolverhampton for December. Their new album is stunning IMO so it's going to be a long wait...

Also managed to get tickets for Life of Agony in September. Their new album is superb as well and haven't seem them since 2005, so looking forward to that as well.

Very jealous of those going to see GNR... biggrin

Know how you feel! Just got myself some pre-sale tickets for Stereophonics, got Lewis Capaldi tickets earlier in the week, and planning a couple more in the next week or so.

Not been to any gigs for a few months (not counting taking my daughter to see Ed Sheeran recently...) but saw House of Pain on Thursday and Kraftwerk tonight.

House of Pain were a bit 'meh!' But we were using the gig as a reunion for a group on mates who saw them 20odd years ago at Rock City, Nottingham. One of my mates ruptured his lower knee tendon during Jump Around so interesting night followed in A&E.

High hopes for Kraftwerk.

Anyone seen The Stone Roses this time round?

WE are going next week - not a great fan of stadium gig either.
