I might have said this on here already, The Smyth's arw great. I've seen them play at Glastonbury every year for the past 3 or 4 years, saw them twice there this year.

They have fun doing it, always put on a good show.

That's great to hear! This'll be the first time seeing them, but I've been tempted to pick up a few more tickets. Looking forward to it even more now!

More my daughter's kind of stuff but got into them myself now. Seen them a few times and going again in November. It was good to see a band on the up going back to play a small venue.
On Bristol? We are going to the Bristol gig
Yep, that's it.
Don't park in the multi storey next to the venue, it takes an hour to get out
If you go to level 8 / top floor it has a seperate exit
Useful.

I will park behind College Green, its only a short walk
Thanks for the tips. Parked in the multi storey before and from memory it was a pain.

Tried to get Liam Gallagher tickets on Friday but they sold out in seconds. Is this basically sheer demand or are touts using some kind of software? Noticed that loads started appearing on get me in shortly after at five times face value.

Something very fishy.
I had 'pre-sale' access which meant I could try and buy a couple of days in advance.

Tried several time including the very first time possible with no joy. Same story with 2 friends.

Top level you come out on the road by the shell garage behind the o2

I had pre-access as well and didn't manage to get any.

Luckily grabbed 3x seated on Friday for Manchster (I wanted Manchester standing)

Sisters of Mercy tonight!
Nice seen them a few years ago in Manchester, I also seen them perform as Near Meth Experience
Thought they were pretty good when I saw them in Brussels on Monday, and seeing Therapy? again made it well worth the effort to get a ticket.

Hadn't seen Therapy? since the mid-90's at least, and the last time I'd seen Eldritch & co was in a tent at Sonisphere six years ago when he turned up looking like he'd just stumbled out from a rave in a luminous tracksuit..

Glad the Sisters have improved, they were shockingly bad (putting it politely) at the Roundhouse in 2015 and it really ruined my memory of them live and on record "back in the day".

Sounds good, they're support on some 2018 gigs I'm going to. I'd never realised they were from Northern Ireland.

Heads up, as I know a few people have mentioned Prophets of Rage. Tickets release on Friday AM for the O2 Kentish Town gig on 13th November!

Hoping to pick a couple of tickets up myself.

Lewis Capaldi last night, at Crofters Rights in Bristol. What a fantastic gig! I've seen Lewis before, so knew he would be good, but the venue was ace! Must've been about 50 people there - that's what I call intimate!

I was there too, saw them at the roundhouse last year (I think) as well and he was sporting a tracksuit then. They do have some cracking tunes.

Get me in is owned by Ticketmaster, who in many cases sold the tickets originally. The exploits of this company have been discussed in Parliament and there is ongoing debate as to how the law can be adapted to stop the very obvious practice of bots buying hordes of tickets and instantaneously placing them on re-sale sites. One potential method of curbing this touting is to print the buyers name on tickets bought and they have to prove ID at the gig.

Have you seen them before?

I see they are playing in Bournemouth so might be worth a trip down.

I'm a Big Smiths fan so don't want to be disappointed

I haven't, but 80sMatchbox has (mentioned above) and he said they were very good! From what I've read, they're very good as well. They apparently focus on the music, rather than the looks - which suits me fine!
