Gig Plans - 2017
Discussion
Got Ghost and Dream Theater booked at the moment - with Whiskey Myers looking likely too. Plenty of other gigs that I may go to as well. Dillinger are a potential but I never really got into them, and as I believe it is their last tour I'll probably let true fans have the tickets instead! Frank Carter I think is already sold out which is a shame. Mammoth Weed Wizard bd I may very well go to.

Saw The Boys at the 100 Club a couple of weeks ago. Got The Ataris on 25th January and 6th February. I'm possibly going to get a ticket Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes at Koko in March but I'm not sure if I'm free at the moment.
A double dose of the ataris here also.Got invited to see 'the white bufallo' last night at shepherds bush empire, excellent gig. He has a few dates dotted around in good sized venues and well worth seeing.
Country, blues, rock thing, really tight 3 piece.
Also added Soul 2 Soul next week at Northampton, bit of an obscure one location wise.

3 planned so far this year.
1. Imelda May - Ipswich, in May.
2. Robbie Williams - Stratford, June.. (not my choice, family thing.)
3. Elbow - Thetford Forest, June.
Have noticed the cost of the Forestry Commission gigs are creeping upward. This'll be the 4th I've been to in about 6 years (Plan B, Paloma Faith, Rudimental were the others) and tickets have gone up from £25 to £41 each. The £4 per ticket booking fee is a joke too...

Sunday - went to Cardiff for a day to remember, new found glory , neck deep and moose blood.
Moose Blood - i've seen them quite a few times the last couple of years and despite having decent songs they just bore me , none of them seem to be enjoying themselves.
Neck Deep- generic pop punk , fun for the 1st few songs then they all blend into each other.
New Found Glory - disapointing, live the lack of a lead guitarist and none of the band wanting to do backing vocals on the chorus's really stands out. Loads of energy but there are gaping big gaps in the sound where there should be cheesy chorus's and lead guitar.
A Day to Remember - they put on a full on cheesy rock show , the perfect blend ( for me) of heavy and catchy .
Tonight back to Bristol for the ataris.
