Just got Sleaford Mods in Brighton and Saint Etienne at the DWP in Bexhill to go this year now.
Totally forgot I've got Royal Blood in Bournemouth later this month as well
I'm seeing them at Manchester Arena at the end of next week. Can't wait!

Really excellent gig and thoroughly enjoyed it, would highly recommend them.
I love them but was a bit disappointed in their gig at Manchester. I think they got their sound levels wrong so it didn't feel much louder than my house until near the end. Much improved when you could feel the music as well as hear it.

The sound was perfect and at a decent level, never been to a bad gig though to be honest at the Brighton Dome

I fancy G3 but can't stomach paying that money for it. Seen satch twice in the mid 00s.

40 notes a seat (taking my 11-year-old fledgling guitarist... ) for Portsmouth didn't seem that bad, although I'll pass on the VIP meet-and-greet this time ... (at 6 times the price!).

He was with Deep Purple last time I saw him (96-ish?).

Saw Wolf Alice in Bristol last week. Reckon they oversold the tickets are the venue was rammed, to the extent of being dangerous. Add in a few pissed up bellends and it wasn't as enjoyable as the last couple of times we saw them.

I didn't notice that tbh. My daughter and I staked a claim at the front of the balcony and had a great view throughout. I did notice the standing area was getting a bit rough with quite a few getting dragged out. The band continue to impress with new material to draw on. I reckon the days of them playing smaller venues are numbered as the fan base continues to grow.

I took your advice and parked up at the top levels of the car park although it was pretty empty compared to last time.

We were standing and it was so packed that you couldn't move even before the band came on. There was then a bunch of pissed up bellends who arrive late and really pushed to get to the front, I was worried for my wife's safety as one of them pushed her over and another was hooking his leg around mine to try and trip me. The one who pushed my wife over was given something to think about and took my advice a fked off a long way from me.

These were the guys that security removed.

We parked just behind College Green, 5 min walk to the car and drive straight out of town with no delays. The car park is also more compatible with the Evora than the multistorey

I noticed security seemed to be keeping a close eye on some in the crowd. Bottles flying around aswell which was a bit of a throwback to the 80s. I thought that practice had long since died out. Shame it got spoiled for you.

Just got back from Royal Blood at Rivermead Sports Centre in Reading.

Great venue (albeit a sthole), nice size to see them.

great noise from a 2 piece, and really seem to enjoy themselves.

At The Drive In were mental.

The lead guy is certifiable for sure; throwing himself around and really putting on a show.

The music was pretty good but not really my cup of tea vocally; the whole rock/punk combo was just a bit too far out of my genre comfort zone!

I'm normally a soul/blues/jazz kinda guy..... niiiiice!

Just watched At the Drive In here in Manchester.
Another great band who will achieve nothing as they lack any commercial edge.

Cramps crossed with RATM with a dose of True Blood :

Roll on Royal Blood!
