Thanks chaps. Time to get the allen keys out and adjust the lower tier of the stand.

I passed with a score of 128, just short of a distinction but happy nonetheless.
Well done thumbup.

I've never heard of anybody getting 129 marks - it might be too dispiriting for many (youngsters) to feel that they've missed out on a distinction by just mark and my GUESS is that the adjudicators might make that little adjustment downwards.
My piano teacher is an examiner and pretty much confirmed this to be the case... similarly nobody ever gets full marks. I got 20/21 for sight reading which I was particularly pleased with, but two of my pieces weren't played to my usual standard, I think playing a different instrument threw me.

I quite fancy a dabble again. I passed grade 7 or 8 maybe 15 years ago now, (I'm 30 now) on the keyboard.

It's never too late. I'm 36 and thought I'd never get back to where I was as a teen. With a decent teacher and spending time going back to scales the technique came back within months.
