3/10 would not bang? Be honest.....you'd be balls deep before you could say her name if you had the chance....but you never will have the hance. Let's not pretend she's some munter though. She's probably 4000% hotter than the majority of peoples birds on here.....

I never once said that I wouldn't disappoint her, you seem awfully irate about something that you have made up, are you feeling OK?
Just calling you out on saying she's a dung heap. Saying 'she's not my type' or 'I don't see why people fancy her' I'd get. But a midden? It's the same thing as the the sexless virgins on Reddit who claim they'd turn down Mila Kunis because there's a photo where she has bags under her eyes. Have a look at know your Meme for 'would not bang' and you'll see what I'm on about.

It's only about £70 to go to one of his gigs. That's not enough to pay for a band and save the people of East Anglia from poverty.

He needs the money to pay lawsuits for ripping off other people's songs.
EFA

I'm sure, indeed I too have heard, he's a lovely guy, but you need a certain something to carry this off on your own, and he's not quite there IMHO.

It would help if he had some other musicians visible on stage doing the obvious bits of backing instead of just using a backing track. He's closing Glastonbury not playing the local pub!

Chic should have closed the festival, they were pure class, (and I don't really like them but wow!)

I thought the point was that he doesn't use backing, apart from when there's someone else on stage with him?

Am I wrong, or due a parrot maybe?

There was more going on in some of his tracks than he was doing himself. I'd sooner have seen some more people on stage actually doing those bits.

I remember last time Chic played Glasto, it was slick & entertaining. This time though, apart form the sheer force of the players, Niles was heartfelt between the songs which definitely added a dimension, chatting about his cancer & getting involved with the Grenfell thing. I mean he's never had a reputation as a dick but it never hurts when you're a globally recognised music star but are still willing to be human before your fans. Good on him.

Indeed. Great gig. Barry Gibb would have been a good closer too.

I've been 10 or so times since 03, much as I hate not having a ticket I still geta few pasties and hot beers in with the tv coverage. Highlights for me have been elbow, I don't listen yo them much but there's something about them and Glastonbury that just comes together; I enjoyed the foo but they did go ona bit; haim; the margo lass; the sherlocks on beeb intro stage, but then I also like a bit if courteeners.

I don't get the radiohead thing, their earlier albums are ok but mostly I find them pretty tedious. I saw slaves twice last time out in '15, both epic high energy sets but I didn't pick that up this time. Tv effect maybe!

Killers were great, pretty sure I heard the crowd signing the toast/toaster lyrics on All These Things. ... what else, Lua Lipa was new, seemed pretty good. Chic looked good but disco isn't really my bag. Might be worth another look going on the comments here though. Future islands were good again, did lack the hawaiian shirt and furious dancing not quite on the 2015 level....

Indeed.

And a great example of a band who are supremely talented but not appropriate to close a huge festival.

Ed Sheeran - take note.

Agreed, watched them earlier without knowing who they were, really excellent stuff.

Switched sheeran off after a few songs. A disappointing end to this years festival.

I thought it pretty disappointing all 'round, but I guess I need to trawl iPlayer for the highlights I missed.

I guess it's just a case of what you like and don't. Last year was great, old and new, but this year I didn't really like anything I saw/heard.

BSP - Like Joy Division? In what possible sense????

Radiohead, Foo Fighters - No, not for me.

Katy Perry? Not something I'd listen to and I didn't think she was that entertaining on stage either - Fine for teenage boys, but that's about it.

Didn't see the Killers - I'll check them out as some have said they were good - and I'll give London Grammar a go, although they're a band I want to like, but never really seem to do so, maybe a live event is the trick.

To be honest, and much as it pains me to say it (being a vehement hater of disco in my teens), Barry Gibb sounded the most enjoyable performance I've heard so far. I guess that's nostalgia for you! biggrin

I'll add Chic to that last point too - A great feel-good set.

What he does is the same as KT Tunstall on this track, only you can see her doing it. In her case, she used a pedal called an Akai Headrush. It literally records what it hears & loops it over & over. If you're deft enough with decent timing, you can use it to build up a song, live. No idea what pedal Ed uses but it;s buried in a very expensive Pete Cornish board with a nice Ipad display built in.

Spooky - I'd been looking for that exact performance from Jools a few minutes ago.

Interesting article here - http://www.dawsons.co.uk/blog/what-equipment-does-... - details the kit he was using back in 2015 and even has a tutorial video..
