He's been pretty good I think.
Bit of both I think.

Enjoyed Radiohead and I'm not a huge fan, thought Elbow were great but the stand out act for me so far is Royal Blood. The noise those 2 blokes can make, bloody hell.

Just waiting for the Foos which I'm sure will be epic.
Jo Whiley in her jean shorts interviewing Liam, there is something about her.

She's nearly as old as me but in considerably better shape.

A MILF if ever there was one.

BBC2, Gallagher person, a blight on modern music!

BBC4, The Amazons, not to my liking.

Found the Red Button, Jools Holland & Ruby Turner, like!

Now the Pretenders are on, happy!

So much time for Dave Grohl, lovely bloke, I was a massive fan of Nirvana (had tickets for a gig which never happened....)

But

But

I cannot stand his voice, ruins the good songs, which are few amongst all the general blandness which is meant to be 'edgy'.

Great bloke though

I think I'm enjoying this more than my neighbours are (turn it up to 11!).

Kids liked Katy Perry, seemed entertaining enough.

Royal Blood were epic yesterday.

I'm enjoying the Foos although SwMBO just walked in and asked who the bloke was singing?
"Dav Grohl" I replied.
"He looks a bit grungy"
I hope she was trying to be funny.

Enjoyed whatI saw of flamin' lips. New to me but seem a band in need of a better lead singer.

Nooooo! Wayne and the FLs arenot about quality singing smile
Shame they're new to you as they've been around a long time.
Well I shall take your wise words and follow my nose to explore them some more.

The latter - never got Oasis or the Gallaghers. They're in the same box as Muse as far as I'm concerned.
He was never a genius, he was am amazing front man and superb singer.

However he is currently on stage singing Whats the Story. A combination of age/haircut/microphone not as high up/lack of other Oasis means its not coming off as should. Voice seems a bit off too, not as raw.
You have to wonder why he didn't get somebody in his band who can sing the higher noel parts of the oasis songs ?

So far ...

Radiohead. Enjoyed them though couldn't help thinking they evoke the same kind of atmosphere as Coldplay, albeit somewhat fed up sounding!

Katy Perry. Again, enjoyed. Like a lot of her stuff.

Liam Gallagher. Not really into his stuff but always interesting. His interview with Jo Whiley made me laugh. He's nuts!

Stormzy. Again, not my thing but I'm always open to trying something different.

Foo Fighters. On now. Not a fan as such but I love a good live band. They seem to be nailing it!

Same here, not something I often do but its the Foo's so 11 is allowed music

I'm wondering if they will bring a 'special guest' out at some point?
Couple of Queen references already, Brian May maybe?

Roger Taylor has been spotted stageside. I dunno, maybe that's too many drummers.
Is Josh Homme about? Be good to see some Grohl drumming.

Love Dave Grohl, couldn't name a single Foos song. But, why shouldn't there be a place for a global rock phenomenon who are also a bunch of nice guys? No shortage of too cool for school aholes in music, bring it on, no matter they don't speak to me, I can appreciate the vibe without loving the music.
