Best set I have ever heard on the pyramid stage.
Some good moments, but self-regarding and one dimensional. There were several times when they should have just got on with playing their music.

Not everyone likes every band shocker? It was a great show, I couldn't name a single song & my Foos time is over until the next time they pop up in front of me on telly. Musical equivalent of a British gold medal in Olympic clay pigeon shooting to me: GO ON, GO ON, GO ON...who?

OTOH the Jacksons were really rather sad I thought when I flipped over for a break from the FFs.
I thought this too, Dad dancing at its worst made even more sad by the fact that they showed videos in the background of them in there prime!!

had to switch off in the end it was to painful to watch,

I watched a bit of the Jacksons set.

One fella looked out of place ,don't think he's an actual Jackson.

The Jackson set was awful but I'm not surprised seeing as the main man wasn't there.

Foo Fighters were fantastic MOR Dad rock, just right for a white, middle class, middle aged, Glastonbury crowd and me at home with my pint! Loved it....not too challenging unlike Stormzy who I can't quite get my head around. Still, my 17 year old daughter loves him so in all.....something for everyone last night. Looking forward to Ed this evening....another nice safe night in!

Disappointed by both Radiohead and Foo Fighters. A bit surprised at Radiohead as I thought they were brilliant when I saw them live many years ago, but they seemed to lack sparkle and some numbers didn't work at Glasto this time round. Never understood Foo Fighters popularity (nor Elbow - The bd child of Radiohead and Coldplay), with the exception of a couple of songs it all sounded identical and shouty. Wormzy seemed to stir the crowd, as did a number of the other dance acts. Perhaps it's time to give the festival back to the kids?

Kindred spirit re Elbow. A few anthems and that's yer lot IMHO.

Was surprised and delighted by FFs though - particularly because they were all obviously enjoying it so very much, too. And also, if I'm being honest, because I wiki'd Dave G and thought that's not your run of the mill rock star, which is nice.

Only one song, but I thought that Fedz were worth watching out for.

BBC2, Gallagher person, a blight on modern music!

BBC4, The Amazons, not to my liking.

Found the Red Button, Jools Holland & Ruby Turner, like!

Now the Pretenders are on, happy!
In full agreement!!
Chrissie Hynde at 65 still sounding great and looking the part.

Just watched the alt-J set and they were very atmospheric. A few funny strange singing voices initially put me off but as it went on I got more and more hooked. How do these bands get so big with out me noticing them previously?
Strongly suspect I'm not as cool as I like to think I am smile

Wish I'd seen alt-j, I like their studio stuff but was unsure how well it would translate into live musoc. Glad to hear they're good.

Bayy Gibb knocking it out of the park in the grandad slot right now. What a career he's had.
