Please accept my apologies for the delayed reply. No interaction, no between somgs talk. Just walked on, did the music and walked off.
I hope you enjoyed it though,
I actually did really enjoy it! I agree about lack of interaction between songs etc but I think that’s just their style tbh.

Saw PSB last night at DeMontfort Hall in Leicester. What a brilliant gig - I knew nothing about them until last week!

Saw Marillion at the Colston Hall in Bristol last night - another great gig with a wide range of songs from across the years.

Well done, I'm on the look out for a ticket there too, or Newcastle.

Added the Editors in October (So'ton) to my list.

Not sure what the expect - I've quite liked some of their stuff, but I wouldn't call myself a fan.

Wondering, actually, why I bought the ticket! biggrin

I'm going to the Newcastle gig. I am a massive fan but also not sure about this one. I love their early stuff and An End Has a Start is one of my all time favourite albums but the new album is average at best. They've had a lot of more experimental stuff which hasn't hit the mark too. I think i'll enjoy individual tracks rather than the whole gig if I'm honest.

I can't get into their new album either. I still bet the live show will be excellent as per usual.

I found this full set on YouTube from last year.

I was at that one as well, although it was my fourth time seeing them and probably one of the best as well. Every Valley keeps growing on me every time I listen to it and size and height of the stage at DeMontfort Hall gave them much more scope to use the video screens and lighting than I've seen before. Cracking band!

No idea who the headliners are, but it's a night called "The Facemelter" hehe

7 Jul - Roger Waters
28 Sep - Halestorm

I have a ticket to watch Freya Ridings tomorrow night at Colston Hall. It’s waiting at the box office, but I can’t be bothered with the hassle of going to Bristol when it’s a bus replacement service!

Anyone want it? If so, just message me with your name and I’ll get them to change the name on the reservation.

ETA: I’ve seen her live before, and she is phenomenal!

Next for me is Plan B on Thursday at Brixton Academy. Should be a great night - saw him before at Thetford, but that was the Strickland Banks tour, so very different to his latest tracks.

Then it's Garbage in September and Rudimental in October.

Teenage Fanclub @ Camden Electric Ballroom in November performing songs from 1994-1997 as part of a trio of gigs on consecutive nights to cover 'The Creation Years' - I'd go to the other two if Camden was easier to get home from or it wasn't mid-week. Since 94-97 covers two of my favourite albums by anyone, it could be an ultimate set list!
