First gig you ever went to?
Discussion
Prompted a little bit by the fact Delores O'Riordan from the Cranberries has just died...
Mine was Mike Oldfield on his Tubular Bells 2 tour in 1993 at the Royal Albert Hall.
The Cranberries were supporting so they were the first band I ever saw live.
I was 7 at the time and loved Tubular Bells 2 so I didn't actually think much of The Cranberries but having listened to some of their stuff over the years, I think I was probably wrong with that conclusion.
What about everyone else?

I think mine must have been The Stranglers at Cornwall Coliseum in late 1982/ maybe early 1983. I didn't know very much of their stuff at the time, but some colleagues were big fans and arranged the trip.
The guy who arranged was the biggest fan but had too much to drink before they came on, so he actually spent the gig in the bus after being sick.
