The Stranglers, Manchester Apollo, February 6th 1983. No idea who was supporting, it's only relatively recently that I've started getting there early enough to see the support act.
Sounds like that would have been the same tour as I saw them on my first gig.

And we both have cars with 'droopsnoots'. smile

Can’t remember what year, probably late 90s, Oasis, Shepherd's Bush Empire.

Saw the Cranberries only once, in 2012 at Hammersmith Apollo. One of my favourite bands when I was growing up. frown

Basement Jaxx at the Barrowlands in 99. So good I only went to one other, The Specials a couple of years later.

Live music isn't my thing.

AC/DCs ballbreaker tour, brummieNEC in '96. Also had another of my favourite bands the wildhearts supporting, back when you were allowed to have a good support band and not whatever pay2play rich kids were bottomlining the promoters coke bill that week.

Black Sabbath at Cardiff Capitol Theatre in 1973. My first real concert and to this day, it remains the loudest gig I've ever been to, even though I saw them about another 25+ times, What an experience!

The Smiths, March 31st 1985. Manchester Palace - supported by James.

It was an eye opener.

1971, Slade at Wolves Town Hall, supported by Sensational Alex Harvey Band. So technically Alex was the first band I saw.

The Cranberries at what is now Leeds O2 Academy. Think it was called the Town & Country at the time. Can't remember the year but it would have been around '94.
