Albert Lee!
Switched R2 on last night and was chuffed to hear what I thought was Ricky Skaggs doing Country Boy. Turned out RS was doing a cover of Albert Lee song. Never knew but will be checking out more of Mr Lee..

Derek Dick (Fish) was meant to be on this evening, but he's got shingles at the moment.

Bugger! Forgot too.

Must be age or something worse.

Anyhow, just looked at the vote for best performance (has Petty been on?) and oh my my, oh hell yes, Petty is one of just 4 choices to vote for: plus the Wailers, Humble Pie and Bonnie Rait. I'd vote for Humble Pie but not doing 'Black Coffee' - so no contest Tom Petty!

Really enjoyed this. Can anyone remember the name of the girl group they had on near the start?
Loads of good memories and still live the honest laid back style of whispering Bob.

Yes, enjoyed that - I haven't heard any of his stuff since the old stuff, but that song was good, as was the modernised version of the older song.
