Hi all,

I currently have a knox k pack, which is around 5 years old and starting to drop to bits.

Can anyone give any recommendations for a good all weather rucksack, with laptop storage?

I sometimes have to carry quite a lot of stuff so needs to be a decent size. For example, tomorrow I'm carrying laptop and charger, notebooks and stationery, rugby boots and kit, and lunch.

Thanks!

I bought a £30 lomo roll top fully waterproof backpack a couple of years ago. I transport a laptop and accessories and lunch etc to work all year round all weather's. It's been tested in torrential rain and does not let any water in. Can't see the point in paying kreiga money when I have something this good for that cheap.

I have a kriega rucksack but switched to a tail pack as it's much more comfortable while riding for me. The US-30 would hold all of that stuff I reckon.

Another vote for the Kreiga R30 - I commute daily with a fair amount of stuff, including a 13" MBP in it.

As ever there's two schools of thought here, but I subscribe to the Kriega one and have an R30. It feels as if it would last for years, hopefully it will..

Remember, what you wear on your back is potentially very dangerous in an accident.

Perhaps try to consider tail pack, tank bag or top box if you’re frequently carrying large amounts of stuff.

I use one of these. Had it for over six years. It functions as a back protector too. I also really like the design though for some it's too scary...
