Not quite the same but were not most members of The Ramones of that surname, even a couple who were not originally became "Ramones" to be in the band?

I didn't think any of the Ramones were actually called Ramone. I haven't checked though.

I checked ,you're right ,all of them adopted pseudonyms.

I thought one or two were Ramones.

I believe it was the name John Lennon used to book hotels.

May be wrong though.

I looked that up too.

Close ,it was McArtney who used the pseudonym Paul Ramon.

Assuming that Wikipedia is accurate.

Well here's my list of alliterative band members and other musical people.

Adam Ant
Betty Boo
Billy Bragg
Billy Bremner (not the footy bloke)
Boz Burrell
Brian Bennett
Charlie Christian
Cas chandler
Daryl Dragon (Captain’s real name)
Derek Dick (Fish’s real name)
Gary Glitter
Gary Green
Joan Jett
Kathy Kirby
Lena Lovich
Mannfred Mann
Marshall Mathers (Eminem’s real name)
Mick Mills
Ozzy Osbourne
Rick Rock
Robby Robertson
Sandie Shaw
Stephen Stills
Steve Strange
Tanita Tikoram
Tiny Tim

(Although in many cases, of course, those are not their real names.)

Now here's a new idea:

What's the longest alliterative band name?

It's probably not Duran Duran.

And it's definitely not The The!

Channel 4's Young Person's Guide To Becoming A Rock Star from a few years back had a character called Derek Trout - played by Fish.
