Just announced:
Fleetwood Mac - Wembley 16 June.
Went on sale at 9:00 this morning - logged in to See Tickets bang on 9:00 and could've had any tickets I wanted....hovered over the Payment button then backed out thinking "do I really want to see Mac again in a big Stadium in London? And without Lindsay Buckingham?"Fleetwood Mac - Wembley 16 June.
Twenty minutes later logged back in for the the heck of it and not one ticket left!! Money saved as I really do not want to do big venues anymore.
Saying that Devo coming over here would get me twitching

So glad I saw Tom Petty at Hyde Park in July 2017, a few months later and he's sadly gone.
So I decided to go for it (or we, 5 of us) and got tickets on Wed a.m. - they were available on O2 'pre-sale' from 09.00am - was straight on but in a queue - the cheap tickets had gone almost instantly (if you can call any tickets today cheap - just mentioned on the Led Zep thread, to think I paid just 3 quid for the Isle of Wight 1970 Festival for 3 days of some (most!) of the world's top groups/stars at that point in time, makes today's prices really suck! ie just a total rip off, but for comparison I know a film buff who has just paid 130 quid to sit and listen live to Jonathan Ross chat with Sophia Loren.
I love Buckingham's guitar playing, but I love Mike Campbell too. I have been watching the current FM concerts/tour in the US and each one gets seemingly better as the group get to know one another better. Mick Fleetwood even did a long drum and bongos stint last week (never liked drum solos but it went down really well with the audience - he even sang (well, sort of!). The set list is good too, they have done Station Man (Kirwan) and Oh Well and Black Magic Woman (Green) each time.

I decided to see how that stacks up, given inflation and it seems to be the equivalent of £45-50 in today's money, which is still pretty good value.Personally, I saw the Rolling Stones at Wembley nearly 30 years ago. It was fun, but I wouldn't bother seeing anyone else (or them) at a Stadium again, once was enough for me.
You've also got to wonder how good a 76 year old performer will be, especially at those sorts of prices...

Oi! Don’t be ageist!
I have had the opportunity to have time and money to see many live groups in the last year. It’s a case of see them now because next year they may not be here. I regret not seeing Jon Hiseman earlier this year and then a few months later he’s sadly gone. I still play my Colosseum 2 records.
Anyway, I have been blown away by the music these dudes in their 70s can make. I mean absolutely note perfect and their age has only honed their talent.

Thrilled to get tickets for The Specials 40th anniversary tour yesterday. Great seats at Cliffs Pavilion Southend. Now where did I leave that pork pie hat!
Might be the only thing from 1978 that still fits me!

I'm very happy these days to be sitting down and nodding appreciably. Tried standing at a couple of gigs recently and that's a young man's game these days!

Tried and failed to get Rammstein tickets this morning for July, so booked Metallica in June instead.
Now just have to hope that Rammstein do a few more UK dates later next year or in 2020. Only doing one gig in the UK has disappointed a lot of fans over here.
Took me just over 5 hours to finally get through to the box office at the stadium on the phone, to speak to someone to book an accessible ticket. Most of the time the phone never rang and just cut off, or after ringing for 3 minutes it cut off.Now just have to hope that Rammstein do a few more UK dates later next year or in 2020. Just got my pre-sale tickets for Muse at London Stadium in June next year. Think this will be the 10th time I've seen them.
I missed out on their last tour as the dates clashed with my wedding/honeymoon.
I've been trying - it's not the easiest site to navigate!I missed out on their last tour as the dates clashed with my wedding/honeymoon.
Was on phone, easier now on PC.

Yes, I nearly clicked on the "premium" package by mistake before realising that £185 a ticket was too much just to get a free lunchbox and maybe get in a bit early. Was on phone, easier now on PC.
