Any advice? My wife booked 4 tickets for GE for my daughter's 18th, she will be going with 3 friends, apparently the card holder has to be present and go to the gig, is this really the case? No joy contacting ticketmaster and starting to panic.
Thanks

They.ve been tightening up on this to stop ticket touts.

Have a look at the link below. It might help but no direct experience.

Isn't it the case they do this to scaremonger? Ive been to 3 or 4 gigs recently and never been asked to present the card it was paid on...

Does the card have to be present, or the card holder? One is considerably less hassle than the other!

At iron maiden in Aberdeen last year I had to get my card I used for payment checked as our tickets got scanned entering the venue. First time that'd happened to me though.

They have started printing the cardholder name on the ticket and it's hit and miss if they check.

Could your Mrs go with them and leave them when they get in?

Edit: As it's your wife's care and your daughter will be there then give her the card and she can say it's her.

Just remember the instructions that it's not to be used to top up the birthday celebrations!

Thanks for the advice, ticketmaster were useless, but my daughter contacted Wembley arena through twitter, provided she had my wife's ID and a copy of their response they would admit the girls, which they did, and they loved the concert.
