Looking forward to seeing Lorde later, not usually my thing but she's a bit mad. Talking of mad, Wolf Alice, Jamie T and the bassist from Haim are the mentalist standouts so far.
Go watch amyl and the nitrates and turnstile if you want mental bands.

Jack White at 6pm is the "secret" act. Assume BBC will have been told this...

The Haim bassist :lol .. her facial contortions are worth the admission fee alone.

Got the laptop in a box in the garden (sun), burrow hill cider and pasties. Sam Fender great, Olivia surprisingly good.

But why are the stages starting so late? They're a good 2 hours behind what I'd consider to be normal scheduling. 11 am, party time. Now there's time for a roast dinner before stuff gets going on the main stages at least.

It always used to be Marcus brigstocke, jupitus et al in the cabaret tent for the early edition at 9.30, then over to a stage for the first act well before noon

My wife wanted to watch Diana Ross on iPlayer but it was painful...really flat and screechy vocals. I went out to the garage to get on with a little job and when I came back she got me to turn it off and my wife is fan.

Little Dragon followed by Bicep my highlights this evening, might just have to catch Lorde on iPlayer.
Snap, won’t make it for Jack White in time to be anywhere near the front, so Elbow for me.

Just the after party to sort

Elbow have two excellent tracks but the rest of it is pretty dire and enough to send you to sleep

I know she is an icon but this is bad. Not enough power in the voice to carry off a gig of this size.

Funnily enough, I once went to see them at the MEN area a -the 2-3 crowd pleaser songs were fantastic to be honest, but I actually did fall asleep later on laugh
(I was sat right at the top/back and maybe a little off-colour)

Yep. Just watching it on catch-up. He’s fking brilliant isn’t he. I saw the White Stripes at Glastonbury 2005. Squelched my way to the front in thick mud and watched the pair of them bang out all the hits with minimal chit-chat for just over an hour. Loving the mix of old and new. He’s still got bags of energy and works the guitar like a man possessed! Love it.
