Sort of a desert island discs scenario here - which 10 albums would you choose as the only 10 albums in your, indefinite, time of being marooned? You can, if you would rather choose a couple of complete album sides instead of a single album (compilation albums consisting of various artistes are not allowed!).

1: Rush – 2112

2: Evanescence – Fallen

3: Scorpions – World Wide Live

4: Iron Maiden – Number of the Beast

5: Rondò Veneziano – Venice in Peril

6: Def Leppard – Pyromania

7: AC/DC – Back in Black

8: Metallica – ‘black album’

9: Black Sabbath – Heaven and Hell

10: Rainbow – The Very Best of Rainbow

I’ll probably switch some albums or album sides if I did this tomorrow but it’ll do me for now wink

Good game

1) Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
2) War of the worlds

The above two were easy, I normally choose war of the worlds as my only album on a desert island.

3) Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
4) Slipknot - Self Titled
5) Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
6) NOFX - I heard they suck live
7) Queen - Live at Wemberly
8) Led Zeppelin - Mothership
9) Mad Caddies - Rock the plank
10) Ghost - Prequelle
11) Nightwish - Endless forms most beautiful

It's 11...sue me.

Jon Anderson 75 today, years are going too quick.

Good list and not dissimilar to mine.... might swap Making Movies for Communiqué and I'd need Desire by Dylan, maybe take Chic out.

I'd miss Supertramp.

We should meet and have babies.

The only one I don't have is Purple Penguin.
I'll trade you Lambchop, Is a Woman. The deal is you must listen as I am about to do with Purple Penguin. (Try Besnard Lakes, just for fun!)

You may like Unkle too but I wouldn't lie to judge?

This thread proves that PH is an echo chamber for me biggrin

I'm in the process of converting all my vinyl to mp3 and I have at least 50% of the LPs on the lists.
